Search Queries: When you search for chargers by address or postal code, these queries are used to fetch results but are not stored or linked to your identity.

Device Information: We collect basic device information (model, OS version, app version) to improve app performance and diagnose issues. This cannot personally identify you.

Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage data helps us understand which features are popular and where users encounter issues. No personally identifiable information is included.

Advertising: The app is free and displays ads from Google AdMob. Ad identifiers are anonymous and resettable. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

All personal data stays on your device. Favorites and preferences are stored locally using secure iOS/Android storage mechanisms. We do not maintain user databases or track charging histories.

When you contact support, your email and message content are retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.

Third-Party Services

• Map Services: OneMap & MapLibre provides map tiles. See their privacy policy for data handling practices.
• Charger Data: We aggregate data from LTA and charging operators.
• Advertising: Google AdMob serves ads.
• Analytics: Crash reporting helps us identify and fix bugs.

Your Rights & Controls

• Location Access: Revoke anytime in Settings → Privacy → Location Services. The app works with manual search.
• Ad Tracking: Opt out of personalized ads via Settings → Privacy → Tracking (iOS).
• Data Deletion: Uninstalling removes all local data.
• Transparency: Request to know what data we hold about you by contacting support.

Children's Privacy

EV Charge Buddy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us immediately for deletion.
